ON THIS NIGHT : ALBERT KING
Blues legend Albert King played the Fox Theater in Boulder, Colorado on August 9th. 1992. This was a classy performance with all the band members dressed in tuxedo’s, an old school performance. I was very familiar with his most famous song, “Born Under A Bad Sign” and of course he played that and a number of his songs from his long career. As the house photographer, I respected the wishes of the artists and bands that came thru the venue and was told that Albert King was not comfortable with photos, no problem I thought, I will just take a few discreet images. I’m glad I did, Albert King passed away 4 months after this night’s performance. He lives on in his music and thru my images as well.
