• When ~ Usually during the first 3 or 4 songs of a concert the pit photographers must either leave or are sometimes permitted to photograph from outside of the inner circle ie audience side.
• Where ~  At the front of the stage , the Pit photographers home from home, or the inner circle of the stage area of the theatre or arena.
