ON THIS NIGHT : LORD OF WORD AND THE DISCIPLES OF BASS
Photographed here at Red Rocks, this large ensemble of musicians, rappers and singers mixed rock, hip-hop, funk and pop music together into an amazingly entertaining show. Led by Theodore Smith, who performed and wrote all the lyrics, the band ran thru a very tight and exciting set. I recognized one familiar face singing background vocals, Sherri Jackson from Band Du Jour. The band were only two years into their career by this performance and judging by the crowd response, they were on their way to great things. Another beautiful summer evening at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater, one of the best venues to photograph a concert.
