A word from the photographer
As she took to the stage, it was a slightly strange setting for the English singer .The main VIP marque of the Polo club was to her left, and the spectators gallery was at the far end of the sand playing arena . But within one song, she encouraged the crowd on to the sand and by the 2nd song, they were all dancing barefoot on the sandy dance floor.
The songs
She played many of her classic tracks including “Take me Home” and “Murder on the Dance floor” from her debut album “Read My Lips”. She also gave a great and enjoyable performance of “13 little dolls” from her 5th album “Wanderlust”.

About the Rovinj Beach Polo Cup
The Rovinj Beach Polo Cup is a unique event to the region that sees Polo players from around the world come and compete in Rovinj. It is the first and only sand Polo tournament in Europe. Over the three days there is a huge variety of entertainment as well as some great games of polo being played. The arena is built directly on the shore line of Porton Biondi beach and has a backdrop of the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic. The Church of St. Euphemia, filling the skyline , looks down majestically from the old town of Rovinj.
