Zagreb was treated to an amazing concert and spectacle by one of the true legends of modern music on Sunday 06.015.18 when Roger Waters returned to the capital of Croatia to perform in his “Us + Them” tour.
Capacity crowd
Since beginning the tour a year ago, the bassist, singer, songwriter and one of the founding members of Pink Floyd has performed to packed and sold out venues across the world. The concert at the Zagreb Arena was no different with the atmosphere building up from late afternoon. The coffee shops, bars and car parks were full of people donning the full range of Pink Floyd Tee shirts and the sounds of Floyd filled the air

The photographers were limited to three songs, tracks 2,3 and 7 and the pit area was crowded but the organisers did a great job and a special thanks to Anita for looking after us all and allowing us to capture some great shots.
The show
The show featured songs from some of Pink Floyd’s greatest albums including “The Dark Side of The Moon”, “The Wall”, “Animals”, “Meddle” and “Wish You Were Here” as well as songs from his solo career plus new tracks from his album “Is This the Life We Really Want”?
The Battersea Power Station
During the second part of the show, the crowd was amazed when several screens descended from the roof and filled the main standing area of the arena. The screens showed satirical and political messages, a live stream of the show and iconic Pink Floyd image such as “The Battersea Power Station” which was used on their 1977 album “Animals”. When “Eclipse”, from “Dark Side of the Moon” was played, a prism appeared above the crowd. With lasers, lights and smoke, an incredible sight was created.

The show
His tour has generated rave reviews from every country with the play list being described as “spectacular” and the stage production referred to as “eye-popping.” In the past both playing solo and with Pink Floyd he was renowned for the almost three dimensional concerts with state of the art audio visual production and breath-taking quad sound being used. The “ Us + Them” tour takes this to an even higher level.
