A word from the photographer
Avishai Cohen performed a great set to a full house at the National theater in Pula. It was the first of his concerts marking this tour and there was a debut performance from his drummer. Each of the Jazz maestros tracks were introduced with interesting dialogue and a good rapport with the audience was made. So much so that he even got them up dancing and the band`s standing ovation was richly deserved.

About “Backstage Live”
The Backstage Live festival brings together eight concerts to the Croatian city of Pula. The festival spans from May until December and takes place at two of the cities most exciting and musical and iconic venues.
The venues
In May and June the Istrian National Theater (INK) with its excellent acoustics is used. In July and August the festival then ventures outside and to the amazing setting and backdrop of Pula`s 2,000 year old amphitheater.
