“Even before Heilung appeared on stage, you could feel the very special energy. Its not a simple concert, its a ceremony. Gathering historical based elements both for instrumental use and writing process, they dig into European Nordic and Germanic cultures to offer an immersion into a pagan atmosphere. Each musician is acting on stage to give an inspiring scenery. Lead singers Kai Uwe Faust and Maria Franz give such a strong performance surrounded with percussionist, warriors, and the whole performance progression is happening as a story line leading you always deeper in ancient times. A delight for Nordic culture and quality pagan music lovers.”
