Stand up and shout
Performing for the first time in Texas Last in Line marked their debut with an absolute power-packed performance. The guys opened up with the popular “Stand Up and Shout” from the “Holy Diver” (DIO) album.
The songs
They played a full and energetic set and mixed in songs from their current album “Heavy Crown”, released in 2016 such as “Martyr”, and “Devil in Me”. They also incorporated some classic “DIO” songs such as “Holy Diver”, “Rainbow in the Dark”, “Don’t Talk to Strangers” and the top ten hit “The Last In Line”.

New Album
Andrew told everyone about their upcoming album which is being produced by “Jeff Pilson” of “Foreigner”. They are hoping that it will be released in early 2019. He explained that while they realise that they will always need to do at least a few classic “DIO” songs, that they are really wanting to move in a direction in which they can incorporate more of “Last In Line’s” music into their set list in the near future.

The encore
The encore included “Starmaker”, the third track from the bands debut album “Heavy Crown” and also “We Rock” from the second “DIO” album,”The Last in Line“, which is where their name originates.
