A word from the photographer
During the 90s I travelled extensively to various motorbike shows in Britain and throughout Europe. At each event there were always good bands performing and I usually managed a quick snap shot for a keepsake. But after studying photography I decided to try a real live concert shoot for the first time and loaded up with one roll of AGFA APX Black and white and headed for a bike show in Skegness to photograph Toyah.
The first photo shoot
The punk rock / pop rock singer regularly had singles and albums in the top 40 throughout the 1980s and she gave a great performance. There was no photographers pit to speak of so I just worked my way to the front, checked my settings and started having the very addictive `time of my life` as I had just discovered my new home.
