Headlining performance

Supporting Satyricon on their North American ‘Deep Calleth Upon Deep’ tour, blackened Death Metal band Goatwhore invigorated the crowd at the White Oak Music Hall in Houston, Texas.  The group delivered a headliner-worthy performance even while working through intermittent sound feedback issues.

A band to see again

I first saw Goatwhore perform at the Metal Blade 35th anniversary tour with “Whitechapel” headlining and knew that I had to catch them again after witnessing their set.  Their style can be described as a mix of blackened death metal with thrash undertones. Frontman Ben Falgoust has a commanding presence and seems to tower over the audience as he performs.  As they finished their set, he said ‘See you in the fall’, which appears to indicate another tour coming up and another chance to see them live.
