A word from the photographer
They recently published they first long player, which is a self titled, nicely-art worked album of nine songs plus one hidden track. The band’s music style is not easy to describe, since rock and new-wavish parts alternate, but post-rock and electronica are also pronounced. All songs transport, however, a melancholic feeling that makes you want to dance despite the sadness in the world.

The bands background
Though Caspian Sea Monster is a quite young band, their members are old-stagers, recruiting themselves from bands like Playfellow and Calaveras, both bands having a high reputation in the independent music scene of Germany. Besides the fact that they are playing great music, this could also be responsible for them having gotten a Label contract quite immediately (Stargazer Records, Wuppertal/Germany).
